Telford & Wrekin Council's C&YP Strategic Partnership Board is accountable to the LSP (Telford & Wrekin Local Strategic Partnership Board), and links with a variety of Executive Partnership Boards, including the PCT, Joint Commissioning and the Police ensuring 'ownership' at the highest level.
Achievements include:
- First pilot for Surestart in 2000
- ISA (Information Assessment Trailblazer) in 2003
- Achieved Beacon status for Integarted Children's Services and Early Intervention (Children at Risk)
- Budget Holding Lead Professional
- Parenting Pathfinders
- Pilot for Beacon Peer Mentoring Pathfinder.
Our Children & Young People services within the borough are recognised both regionally and nationally for their vision and for developing leading edge practice.
