Our Community Strategy sets out our priorities and actions over the next five years (2006-2011) for transforming Telford into a 'successful, prosperous and healthy community which offers a good quality of life for all the people of Telford and Wrekin'.

The Strategy contains information on the shared community priorities/ambitions which are:

• Transforming Telford and Wrekin
• Giving children and young people the best possible start in their lives 
• Maintaing a sustainable and quality environment
• Creating safe, strong and cohesive communities
• Promoting healthy communities and improving the life of vulnerable and older people
• Strengthening the local economy and the skills of local people.

The Strategy also contains detailed information  on our priorities how we are going to achieve them over the next five years.
